• Coffee cups would not have nice, big "HOT" warnings. (The famous McDonald's coffee lawsuit was filed by an Albuquerque woman.)
• The United States would only have 49 states. (Duh.)
• The U.S. Department of Energy would not have a Director for Native American Affairs. (Former Secretary of Energy Bill Richardson initially got into national politics as a congressman for New Mexico.)
